However, we tend to delay the washing then and there. It may be because of laziness or busy work schedules. Sometimes, many women throw the panty into their laundry hamper. Hand Wash Your Undergarments

People may wash their brassiere with care, but when it comes to underpants, they don’t put so much importance on it. Just like lingerie, you should wash your underwear by hand. Do not throw the piece of cloth into the washing machine. Otherwise, it will wear out the elasticity of your panty faster than usual. You will be left with panties that are too loose to wear. You can hand-wash your underwear during or after your bath. If your underwear is of good quality, it won’t lose it’s elasticity too soon.

If you use cold water, it will help to get rid of any type of stains in your underwear. Especially if its blood, you can clean it easily with normal water. After washing with normal water, you can use gentle soap for thorough cleaning. You must ensure that you aren’t using any hard detergent. Do Not Bleach Your Underwear

Your underwear doesn’t have any requirements for bleaching agents. So, no need to use such heavy detergents that do all heavy-duty washes. Bleach makes the fabric hard, but it can break easily. So, the cloth becomes vulnerable to tearing. As we don’t want our underwear to tear away soon, it is better to keep those away from bleaching substance.

Wash Your Panties Separately

You can wash your cotton panties together, but don’t throw silk or lace one into it. Each fabric has different washing techniques, and you should maintain that to keep your undergarments long-lasting. Cotton may take brute force, but not silk or lace underwear won’t. In pressure, the lace or silk underpants can tear or lose their elasticity. Also, don’t throw your silk and lace underwear in the machine as they are not made for machine wash.
